RHP Nathan Eovaldi for Rangers (12-5, 3.63 ERA, 132 K’s, 1.14 WHIP). Been excellent in postseason.
This is a matchup of two Louisville Sluggers as the Rangers feature the great Seager, who has already won a ring with the Dodgers in 2020, and their spectacular slugging right fielder, Adolis Garcia.
The D-backs are scrappy, no doubt, and taking two in Philly to capture the NL pennant was terrific.
But give me the Rangers with Seager, Garcia, Jordan Montgomery and Eovaldi leading them to their first World Series title in franchise history….

No arguments here with that pick. They both deserve to be in the World Series because they both were down 3-2 in the series and won the last two on the road to clinch a berth.

Agree with Bama. Hard to believe these two teams went on the road and won at Houston and at Philly. Hard to do. Rangers are the better team and should win. Like your pick.
Thanks, MB. Improbable, but that’s playoff baseball. MLB and NHL are the hardest postseasons to predict because it’s all about teams getting hot and that’s what these two teams did.
Not the marquee matchup that I had hoped for but, they earned it. Like your pick.
Rangers & Diamondbacks are hard charging closer teams. Watching these 2 pennant winners the last 2 weeks hard to believe between them they lost 212 games in 2021and 182 in 2022. Who says you can’t buy a winner? Seriously, Diamondbacks have relied on & proven you can develop good prospects. I like your selection. Rangers win with the superstars paying off!
