Numbers 8-10 on Pebble Beach are kind of the course’s Amen Corner. Three long par 4’s. Excellent holes. The par 3 17th is always electric on Sundays, and the Par 5 18th, with the Pacific on the players’ left on the tee shot, can be treacherous, but also can lead to eagle or birdie with two good shots on the 543 yard hole.
As my good friend Spike calls him, I’m going with the 37 year old brat from Bagdad, Florida that is. Like his game on any course.
