My revised Final Four with darkhorses; Sneds rolls

1. Indiana:

Love Victor Oladipo, one of the best athletes and skilled basketball players in the country.

2. Michigan:

Tremendous basketball players. Trey Burke the best point guard in the country along with Shane Larkin of Miami. Glen Robinson III and Tim Hardaway III, like Burke and their fathers, look like NBA players.

3. Syracuse:

That 2-3 zone is impregnable. It’s very tough. Great athletes on the floor. Michael Carter-Williams and C.J. Fair look like NBA players like Oladipo and Burke. Carter-Williams is one of best players in the college game.

4.Miami:

Love this team and their coach Jim Larranaga. Excellent basketball team. 11-0 in the ACC with lopsided wins over Duke and Carolina.

Another possible blue blood in there:

Michigan State:

Tom Izzo always takes his group a long way in March.  This year will be no exception. Big game tomorrow night at home vs. Michigan (9 ET/8 CT on ESPN).

Darkhorses:

Gonzaga and Butler

Both excellent teams. Gonzaga talented and very well coached by Mark Few. Butler just has magic about them. Brad Stevens a top five coach in the country.

Golf thoughts:

Sneds was awesome yesterday in shooting 65 to win the AT&T National Pro-Am at Pebble Beach with a score of -19. He won by three strokes over Chris Kirk from the University of Georgia. Sneds looks to be the best player in golf now that his ball striking is elite. Should be an awesome Masters, and even before that with the World Golf Championships in two weeks in Scottsdale, Az., and Doral and Arnie coming up in March. I’m looking forward to this weekend with the Northern Trust Open at Riviera in LA. Phil, Keegan, Webb, Lee Westwood, Dustin among others playing. Nice field. This year has been electric so far. Going to keep getting better too.
