Coach Mason adds high three star corner Adam Sparks to the fold
Coach Mason secured his ninth commitment of the 2017 class with the addition of 87, three-star cornerback Adam Sparks out of Dutchtown High School in Baton Rouge, LA.
Adam is 6’0, 170, and moves very well at corner, has superb cover skills, good ball skills, and is an excellent tackler. He also plays punt coverage on special teams and makes tackle after tackle there as well by the looks of his highlights.
As a junior, Adam posted three interceptions, nine pass breakups, and three forced fumbles for a Dutchtown team that finished 8-4. I saw him make some hard hitting, sure tackles. He also had a couple of ints and many pass breakups on film. Adam looks pretty stellar.
He was outstanding at the Friday Night Lights camp, and really caught the coaches’ eyes.
Like this addition. Adam joins 85, three star safety Tae Daley as our two secondary commits so far. I have read that Coach Mason and secondary coach Mark Mattioli want to add another player to our defensive backfield.
Nice addition here with Adam.
