U.S. Open Pick

With the wetter conditions and the shorter course , 6996 yards, I like the shorter guys with the good iron game and short games to be right in the mix. As a matter of fact, I’m picking a player who has been in the hunt for many years and has a classic short game particularly with the flat stick. The winner is:
Luke Donald

Like Luke to get his first major at historic Merion Golf Club

  1. Going with Phil. Didn’t use the driver last weekend in preparation for the US Open and I think he will wisely leave it in the bag this weekend. Normally a magician around the greens.

    1. Surely could. Going with Donald due to the shorter conditions though the torrential rain they might get may favor the longer hitters as it works out. Biut like Luke’s short game and he can hit far enough. Best putter in the world along with Sneds.
