Final Four in Match Play this week: Winner

WGC Accenture Match Play at the Golf Club at Dove Mountain, Marana, Arizona

Architect: Jack Nicklaus

Par 72, 7,791 yards

Defending champion: Kuuuch

Key hole:

No.18 is a classic 48o yard par 4 that requires extreme accuracy. Length helps as well. There is sand all over the place off the tee shot and trouble in front and on the sides of the green. Matt Kuchar beat Hunter Mahan on this hole last year to capture the title. Worth 550 Fed Ex points and a $ 1.5 million dollar first place money, so there will be some pressure on this hole on the weekend.

Semifinals predictions:

Jason Day (Bobby Jones bracket) vs. Harris English (Ben Hogan bracket)

Winner: Day

1 Up

Jordan Spieth (Gary Player bracket) vs. Zach Johnson (Sam Snead bracket)

Winner: Zach Johnson

2 and 1

Final:

Winner: Zach Johnson

1 Up on Day:

Zach has already won twice this season at the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge in California which used to be the Chevron, which Tiger has dominated somewhat though not recently. Zach also won in Hawaii at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in early January. Like his solid ball striking and excellent putter to get it done on the Nicklaus designed Dove Mountain Course.

Like Zach to capture Match Play championship
