Our superb former cornerback, Joejuan Williams, who played for us from 2016-2018, had a tremendous night for the New England Patriots last Thursday Night in their first preseason game vs the Washington Football Team, a 22-13 Patriots victory.

Joejuan, in his third season with the Pats, recorded 3 tackles, 2 pass breakups and intercepted a pass and returned it 36 yards on a beautiful defensive play.

Joejuan is listed as third team right now, but Stephon Gilmore better be on his toes, because Joejuan is a player. Bill Belichick needs to find a way to get our former great on the field. Awesome stuff from the man.

Oren Burks had a tremendous night for the Green Bay Packers at inside linebacker against the Houston Texans last Saturday Night with 7 tackles, 2 for loss and a sack. Oren is ready to hit the field and start for the Pack.

Will Holden started at left tackle for the Indy Colts on Sunday. JMatt and Trent Sherfield are with the 49ers, Trent had an 80 yard TD reception last Saturday Night versus the Chiefs and JMatt caught 1 pass for 16 yards. JMatt has gained 25 pounds and is now playing tight end. Awesome play by Trent. Also, and I don’t want to forget this, this is important, Justin Skule is the starting right guard for the Niners.

The great Adam Butler is now a defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins, and another great, Stephen Weatherly, is a starting defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings. Also, Kyle Shurmur started at quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals versus the Bucs, a 19-14 Cincy victory. Kyle was 12-of-19 for 108 yards with an int and no TDs.

Will keep you apprised of our NFL guys as the preseason continues into the regular season which commences on Thursday, Sept. 9th as the Cowboys visit the Bucs at 7:20 PM CT on NBC, and a full slate on Sunday, Sept. 12th. Several of our guys will be in action.

And not to forget Ke’Shawn Vaughn who ran for 27 yards and a TD Saturday Night for the Bucs versus the Bengals.

Also, the great Zach Cunningham didn’t start for the Houston Texans last Saturday Night, but our former linebacker led the NFL in tackles last season and is an All Pro player. Zach, an inside linebacker for the Texans, is one of the marquee defensive players in the National Football League.
