Coach Mason adds Commitment No.12
Texas linebacker Dimitri Moore is a Commodore
Coach Mason and his staff picked up a commitment yesterday from 87 three-star linebacker Dimitri Moore out of Cedar Hill High School in Texas.
The 6’3″, 205 inside linebacker dropped anchor over offers from finalists Colorado, Missouri, Texas Tech and Minnesota. Dimitri held over two dozen offers including Arkansas and Utah.
Watched Dimitri’s film and he’s very fast in such an easy way. He makes running look easy and he can move. Dimitri’s a tackling machine. As a junior, Dimitri posted 44 tackles, 6.5 for loss, four sacks and a fumble recovery. while missing four games due to an injury. This fall, Dimitri has posted 56 total tackles, 10 for loss, three sacks and an interception for the 6-2 Cedar Hill Longhorns.
Dimitri joins fellow Texas solid three star commitments Ranchview defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo and Midland receiver McLane Mannix in the 2017 class.
As a very good friend of mine, who’s a VU grad and outstanding attorney, told me an older VU grad and outstanding attorney told him, “We don’t need any more lawyers, we need linebackers!”
